About This Child

Nulu is 6-years-old and lives with her mother and two siblings in a tiny one-roomed house in Loco village. Nulu’s dad died last year but one.

Because he was the head of the household and the only one that worked, his death greatly affected the family.

After her husband’s burial, Nulu’s mother was given capital worth $6 by a friend to start a business so that she would be able to support her family.

She bought silverfish to sell but the business collapsed. 

It was the community that supports the family because the mother was not employed.  Because of you, Nulu can attend school full-time.
